Being a big fan of the Leading Teams model, and understanding the importance of Change Management, I was destined to, at some point in time, read article “3 common obstacles to organisational change and how to overcome them“, which was published on the Leading Teams “Culture Change” blog in June this year.
The take-away for me….
For a leader to achieve change, you need to ensure your target group has the necessary tools to enable them to embrace the change.
To achieve this, a leader must…..
- Commit to frequent communications on the technical requirements of the change
- Provide the necessary support and training that will support an effective transition to the change
- Have a two-way communication process that continually reinforces a change requirement framework, consisting of clear identifiable goals and timelines.
